Eligibility:
Duration
Full Time Students: 2 Years (4 Semesters) Min , 3 Years (6 Semesters) Max
Part Time Students: 3 Years (6 Semesters) Min, 4 Years (8 Semesters) Max

Credit Hours: The degree comprises 60 Credit Hours. 10 Credit hours are to be taken up for Dissertation in the 4th Semester. 2/3rd of the Credit Hours are to be taken from the major degree program and 1/3rd is to be taken outside the Department.

Eligibility Criteria for M.Sc Program

  • As per the university's requirement the potential candidate intending for admission must have passed the Bachelor's degree examination in aggregate with at least 45% marks from a recognized institution, in a field of study relating to the subject he/she desires to take up. Students who have done B. A, B. Sc, B.Com, B. Sc Home Economics are eligible to apply.
  • The candidate is required to be descending from Barani districts of the Punjab except the children of the University employees.
  • Candidates seeking admission in the University hailing from the areas other than prescribed are admitted in the evening programs only.
  • The nominees of different departments/ organizations with minimum of 2nd division or its equivalent in Bachelor.
  • Finally, the admission to the evening program is open on all Pakistan basis.

  • Students who have done Masters in Anthropology, Economics, Psychology, Behavioral Sciences, Political Science, Social Work, Development Studies, Archaeology, Asian Studies and Geography are eligible to apply.
