BS (Anthropology)
Description:

1. Minimum Requirement for Award of BS Anthropology Degree

The duration of the Course for completing the course for the degree of Bachelors of Science (Anthropology) shall normally be eight semesters and maximum 12 semesters

2. Admission and Registration

  • Minimum Academic Requirement:-
    A person holding F.A/F.Sc. or an equivalent certificate from any recognized Institute/College with at least 50% marks excluding Hafiz-e-Quran, or any other marks specified shall be eligible for admission to BS (Anthropology).
  • Domicile
    There will be open merit. All Pakistanis including AJK and GB domiciled are eligible for the degree programme provided that they are meeting the above admission criteria.

3. Admission Authority

The Dean Faculty of Social Sciences in consultation with Chairman of the concerned department shall be responsible for admission to the programme.
AGE: A candidate must not be more than 23 years of age on 1st October of the year of admission.

M.Sc (Anthropology)
Description:

1. Minimum Requirement for Award of M.Sc Anthropology Degree

The duration of the Course for completing the course for the degree of M.Sc. (Anthropology) shall normally be four semesters and maximum six semesters

2. Admission and Registration

  • As per the university's requirement the potential candidate intending for admission must have passed the Bachelor's degree examination in aggregate with at least 50% marks from a recognized institution, in a field of study relating to the subject he/she desires to take up. Students who have done B. A, B. Sc, B.Com, B. Sc Home Economics are eligible to apply.
  • The nominees of different departments/ organizations with minimum of 2nd division or its equivalent in Bachelor.
  • Admission in the Morning programme is on all Punjab, and Islamabad Capital Territory basis.
  • Finally, the admission to the evening program is open on all Pakistan basis.

Description:

1. Minimum Requirement for Award of M.Phil Anthropology Degree

The duration of the Course for completing the course for the degree of M.Phil (Anthropology) shall normally be four semesters and maximum six semesters.

2. Admission and Registration

  • As per the university's requirement the potential candidate intending for admission must have passed the Master's degree examination in aggregate with at least 50% marks or a CGPA of 2.5 from a recognized institution.
  • Students who have done Masters in Anthropology, Economics, Psychology, Behavioral Sciences, Political Science, Social Work, Development Studies, Archaeology, Asian Studies, Gender Studies and Geography are eligible to apply.
