HEC-Japanese Need Based Scholarship

HEC-Japanese Need Based scholarship program for Pakistani University Students aims at providing equal opportunities to talented students who are unable to enter higher education due to financial constraints. he program is targeted towards B.Sc.(Hons) Agriculture and M.Sc.(Hons) Agriculture study programs of University of Arid Agriculture, Rawalpindi.

Availability of HEC- Need Based Scholarships

  1. Applicants are invited for award of HEC-Japanese Need Based Scholarship scheme of Higher Education Commission, Islamabad for the candidates seeking admissions in B.Sc.(Hons) Agriculture (5 seats) and M.Sc.(Hons) Agriculture (30 seats) only.
  2. This scholarship is not a merit scholarship and will be awarded on need basis to those students who face difficulty in paying their university dues after their admission on merit.
  3. The scholarship is available for the session 2006-07 onward.
  4. The students who have secured admission in September session 2005-06 (Currently in 2nd semester) are also eligible.
  5. This scholarship will largely cover the university dues, lodging, transportation, books and incidental charges.
  6. The talented but financially disadvantaged students, who cannot afford educational expense for their studies, may apply for said scholarship on prescribed proforma alongwith prescribed application form available in the office of Dean, Faculty of Crop and Food Sciences.

Availability of HEC-USAID Need Based Scholarships

  1. Applications are also invited for award of HEC-US Need Based Scholarship Scheme of Higher Education Commission, Islamabad for the candidates seeking admission in M.Sc.(Hons) Agriculture (24 seats) only.
  2. This scholarship is not a merit scholarship and will be awarded on need basis to those students who face difficulty in paying their university dues after their admission on merit.
  3. This scholarship will largely cover the university dues, lodging, transportation, books and incidental charges.
  4. The talented but financially disadvantaged students, who cannot afford educational expense for their studies, may apply for said scholarship on prescribed proforma alongwith prescribed application form available in the office of Dean, Faculty of Crop and Food Sciences.
