Certificate Distribution Ceremony of Prime Minister Youth Skill Development Program

A certificate distribution ceremony of Prime Minister Youth Skill Development Program held at Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University, Rawalpindi on July 16, 2018.

 

More than 25 participants have successfully completed 6 months short course titled 'Livestock Manager' from expert staff of Department of Livestock Production & Management (FV&AS) through National Vocational & Technical Training Commission. They were trained on the management, production and handling of livestock also gone through the literature as well as technical expertise.

 

Prof. Dr Sarwat N. Mirza, Vice Chancellor PMAS-AAUR was the chief guest while Mr. Zubair Ahmed, Deputy Director NAVTTC was the guest of honor at the ceremony. A large number of students, deans, directors and administrative staff attended the prize distribution ceremony.

 

V.C PMAS-AAUR, Prof. Dr Sarwat N. Mirza stressed the need to apply the gain knowledge and expertise in the practical field for the boom of livestock industry and said, "Trainings are the continuous process and one must avail the opportunity in effective manner, learn from the mistakes of past and come with the better solutions to fix the problems."

 

He assured every technical support to NAVTTC from varsity for the skills & career development of unemployed youth of Pakistan and to meet the objectives of Prime Minister Youth Skill Development Program and hoped for long term future collaborations.

 

Mr. Zubair Ahmed, Deputy Director NAVTCC congratulated the participants for the successful completion of training and said, "to be an Agricultural background, Pakistan has wide scope in livestock management".He hoped from trainees that they would apply the learned skills, expertise & knowledge for improving the living standards of their families and for the socio-economic uplift of the sector in Pakistan.

 

He also applauded the efforts of PMAS-AAUR for the facilitating trainees to get up to date knowledge and practical training at the University's Research Farm, Koont and congratulated Vice Chancellor, PMAS-AAUR and his team for the achievement of desired goals by imparting in trainees the technical expertise to take lead in their careers development.

 

Prof. Dr Atta ul Mohsin, Director External Linkages and Prof. Dr Arfan Yousaf, Dean Faculty of Veterinary & Animal Science addressed the participants also certificate were distributed among the successful participants of the training program.
