Eligibility: Eligibility: Minimum 16 years of education i.e. B.Sc. (Hons.) Animal Husbandry OR B.Sc. (Hons.) Poultry Science, OR B.Sc. (Hons.) Agri. (Major Animal Science) OR B.Sc. (Hons.) Animal Science OR DVM OR other equivalent Animal/Veterinary Science degree subjected to qualifying the deficiencies as prescribed by the Department Board of Studies with CGPA not less than 2.50/4.00. Must have passed university test with at least 50% marks.

(Hons.)/M.Phil. in the relevant subject department with deficiency courses if needed as decided by the Board of Studies and first division in relevant field OR CGPA of at least 3.00/4.00. The Ph.D. applications must be accompanied by comprehensive project proposals. Must have passed university test with at least 70% marks.
