PMAS- Arid Agriculture University holds the honor to celebrate 28th May, the day of Pakistan’s atomic explosions (Yom-e- Takbir) under the umbrella of dynamic leadership of worthy Vice Chancellor. “Araidian Patriotc Society” and “Directorate of Student Affairs” collectively organized the event with support and cooperation of the University Management (Principle Officer, DSA, Tutors, Respected Faculty Members, and Students).
A senior atomic scientist and other respectable guests privileged the event with their presence. Respectable Dr. Sultan Bashir-ul-Din Mehmood (Sitara-e-imtiaz), Ex-D.G Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission of Pakistan, was the chief guest. Among other guests were Mr. Abid Iqbal Khari, President Positive Pakistan Forum and Mr. Majid Afzal, Director Swedish Institute of Technology.
In his speech, Dr. Sultan Bashir-ul-Din shared his valuable experiences and the efforts of all those who made this nation proud being a Muslim atomic power. In his message to students, faculty and all participants, the respectable chief guest emphasized the importance of hardworking, restless efforts, sacrifice for the nation, upholding the ethics and morality of a good Muslim, having patience and loyalty to the mother land.
Mr. Abid Iqbal Khari and Mr. Majid Afzal also shared their relevant and patriotic thoughts.
