Groundbreaking Ceremony of PMAS Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi – Attock Campus held here in Attock on 5th December 2016. Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Sheikh Aftab Ahmad was Chief Guest at the Occasion. The event was bestowed with the presence of Worthy Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Rai Niaz Ahmad, Attock Campus Director, Dr. Zuhair Hasnain, District Coordination Officer (DCO) Attock Rana Akbar Hayat, notables of Attock District along with the Dean/Directors, faculty, staff and students (with parents) of the campus. Addressing to this large gathering, Sheikh Aftab said that the establishment of sub campus Attock is the dire need of time for the coming young generation of Pothwar. He highlighted the vision of Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Chief Minister Punjab, Shahbaz Sharif regarding better availability of quality educational facilities at the door step to the youth. He reminded that 1000-kanal campus is the promise of CM Punjab Shahbaz Sharif which is now fulfilled. Worthy Vice-Chancellor Dr. Niaz, Campus Director Dr. Zuhair Hasnain and DC Attock Rana Akbar Hayat also addressed the gathering.
