The proceeding started with the name of Allah, Hafiz Amjad Mehmood student of BS(CS) recited few verses of Holy Quran with English translation.

Dr. Mubashir Riaz Khan, Associate professor Institute of Space technology addressed on the topic Monitoring agriculture and water resources using remote sensing and GIS.

Lastly Mr. Adnan Rouf from Royal Institute of Technology Sweden addressed on the topic of Application of GIS in Ecology - Geostatistical Techniques for Predicting bird species occurrences.

After that Chief Guest Mr. Sung Choonki, Director General KOICA Pakistan addressed and highlights the importance of GIS and also elaborates the KOICA and its working in Pakistan, the Chief Guest also briefed the participants about the ongoing projects in the field of Education in Pakistan in collaboration with KIOCA. At the end the chief guest congratulated university at his world ranking position and appreciated the efforts of UIIT for the successful conduction of this event.

At the end the Chief Guest distributed shields to the Speakers and Director UIIT gave souvenir to the chief guest.
