CAS-D Objectives
- Advisory service for all the stakeholders ranging from farmers to certifying agencies.
- Identification, acquisition and development of affordable technology needed across all stages of value chain.
- Providing seed money and infrastructure for agriculture entrepreneurship and rural social innovation.
- Liaison with federal government to create enabling environment for enhancing agriculture exports.
- Identify and address farm related issues resulting in malnutrition, stunted growth and food security.
- Support donors and NGOs in designing and implementation of agriculture projects.
- Partnering with provincial dairy and livestock departments to provide targeted training, capacity building, productivity improvement and livelihood creation.
- Help provide infrastructure for sorting, grading and processing of agriculture produce.
- Identify and address issues related to exports such as availability of quality certification to avoid quarantine at the destination countries.
